蝗虫（胡光胡孟二反阜螽蝗也今人謂蝗子為螽子小曰蝩大曰蝗也論文作蟥非體也蝩之容反也）。

蝗虫 (*hu* + *guang* and *hu* + *meng*, two fanqie pronunciations; the grasshopper or locust is the 蝗; people nowadays call young locusts 螽子, the small ones being called 蝩 and the large ones called 蝗; in the text of the treatise it is written as 蟥, which is not the correct standard form; 蝩 has the fanqie *zhi* + *rong*).
