Pregnant (懷孕: [first character fanqie] 胡乖反; Kong [Anguo's] commentary on the Lunyu states: "Huai (懷) means to be at ease/comforted." The next character has the fanqie 餘證反; Zheng Xuan states: "Carrying a child is called yun (孕)." The Shuowen jiezi states: "Carrying a child." The Guangya states: "Huai means pregnancy (㑗);" 㑗 is pronounced like 身).
