慳恡（口閑反韻詮云慳固也桂苑珠叢云愛財不捨曰慳或作掔𩋆古字也下隣信反廣雅恡鄙也韻英云恡惜或作𰐪古字也）。

Stingy and parsimonious (慳恡: [first character fanqie] 口閑反; the Yunquan states: "Qian (慳) means stubborn withholding." The Guiyuan zhucong states: "Holding onto wealth and not giving it away is called qian." It is also written as 掔 or 𩋆, which are ancient graphs. The second character has the fanqie 隣信反; the Guangya states: "Lin (恡) means miserly." The Yunying states: "Lin means sparing/grudging." It is also written as 𰐪, which is an ancient graph).
