挑眼（體遙反考聲云挑抉縈悅反淵字入聲從扌音手兆聲也．有從木者非也）。

挑眼 (fanqie: 體遙反 [tiāo]. The Kaosheng says: "挑 means to gouge out (抉, fanqie: 縈悅反 [yuè], entering tone of the character 淵); semantic with 扌 (pronounced 手), 兆 is phonetic." Those written with the wood radical [木] are incorrect).
