匱乏（逵位反考聲匱窮也少也鄭注禮記匱乏也文字典說從匚貴聲匚音方）。

Destitute and lacking [匱乏] (kui: ku[í] + [w]èi fan; the Kaosheng says: '"Kuì" means exhausted; it means scanty.' Zheng's Commentary on the Classic of Rites says: '"Kuì" means lacking.' The Wenzi dianshuo says: 'It takes the phonetic "guì" (貴) under the "fāng" (匚) radical.' Fāng is pronounced fāng).
