屬耳（之欲反國語恐國人屬耳目於我韋昭曰屬注也漢書音義曰屬近也詩云耳屬于垣是也）。

屬耳 (incline one's ears: [屬 has the fanqie] 之欲. The Guoyu says: "Fearing the people of the state might direct their ears and eyes toward me." Wei Zhao says: "Zhu (屬) means to focus." The Hanshu yinyi says: "Zhu means to draw near." In the Shijing, "Ears are inclined to the wall" illustrates this).
