輻軸（上甫木反顧野王奏轂張輞者也說文從車畐聲下沖六反儀禮軸狀如轉轔刻兩頭為軹輁狀如長木穿桯前後著金而閞軸焉說文從車由聲）。

輻軸 (spoke and axle: the first character has the fanqie 甫木. Gu Yewang says: "They extend from the hub to expand the rim." The Shuowen says: "From chariot (⾞) with the sound fu (畐)." The second character has the fanqie 沖六. The Yili says: "The axle is shaped like a revolving roller with both ends carved into end-caps; the carriage frame is shaped like a long piece of timber piercing the axle-tree, clad with metal before and behind to enclose the axle." The Shuowen says: "From chariot (⾞) with the sound you (由)").
