預立（古文預忬二形今作預同余據反先辦也預猶𬾨也逆為之具故曰預也）。

預立 (The archaic forms were 預 and 忬, two variants; now written 預, identical; fanqie 余據. It means to prepare beforehand. 預 is like 'to prepare'. Preparing instruments in advance is therefore called 預).
