善扼（鸎革反廣雅扼持也取也鄭注禮記云盈手曰扼說文從手厄聲也厄音同上）。
Properly hold [善扼] (e: y[īng] + [g]é fan; the Guangya says: '"È" means to grasp; it means to take.' Zheng's Commentary on the Classic of Rites says: 'A handful is called "è".' The Shuowen says: 'It takes the phonetic "è" (厄) under the "shǒu" (手) radical.' È has the same pronunciation as above).
