罥索（上決泫反聲類云罥繫取也考聲云罥以繩捕鳥也或作羂文字典說云作羂古今正字從𠔿肙聲肙音一椽反淵之去聲也從口從肉）。

罥索 (The first character has the fanqie 決泫. The Shenglei states: "Juan (罥) means to bind and capture." The Kaosheng states: "Juan means to catch birds with a net/rope." It is also written as 羂. The Wenzi dian shuo states that it is written as 羂. The Gujin zhengzi states that it is derived from 𠔿 with 肙 as phonetic. 肙 has the fanqie 一椽, which is the departing tone of yuan (淵); it is derived from 口 [mouth] and 肉 [flesh].)
