寔繁（上承軄反杜注左傳云寔實也爾雅寔是也說文止也從宀是聲論文從穴非下伐袁反毛詩傳曰繁多也鄭注禮記云盛也考聲繁眾多也古今正字云從糸敏聲也）。

寔繁 'Truly numerous' (The first character is fanqie 承 + 軄. Du's commentary on the Zuozhuan states: '寔 means truly (實).' The Erya states: '寔 means this / is (是).' The Shuowen jiezi states: 'To stop; derived from 宀 with 是 phonetic.' The treatise writes it with 穴, which is incorrect. The second character is fanqie 伐 + 袁. The Mao Commentary on the Shijing states: '繁 means many.' Zheng's commentary on the Liji states: 'Abundant.' The Kaosheng states: '繁 means numerous.' The Gujin zhengzi states: 'Derived from 糸 with 敏 phonetic.').
