礠石（上音慈呂氏春秋云礠石能召䥫本草云礠石一名玄石一名處石若有孔孔中赤色者名慈石無孔青黑色名玄石生慈州之山陰能吸䥫好者虛懸三四針能消䥫毒經意取吸䥫為喻也）。

礠石 (The first has the sound cí; the Lüshi chunqiu states that lodestones can attract iron; the Bencao states that the lodestone is also named dark stone, or named dwelling stone; if it has holes and inside the holes it is red, it is called magnet stone; if it has no holes and is bluish-black, it is called dark stone; it is produced on the northern slopes of the mountains in Cizhou and can attract iron; fine ones can suspend three or four needles in the air and can neutralize iron toxins; the sūtra intends the metaphor of attracting iron).
