摧殘巳（上藏雷反顧野王摧猶折也下藏蘭反廣雅殘滅也蒼頡篇敗也說文從歺從戔也歺音同上戔亦音同上也）。

Destroyed and ruined already (摧, the first character, has the fanqie phonetic spelling 藏雷 [zang/lei]. Gu Yewang says: '摧 is like snapping.' 殘, the second character, has the fanqie phonetic spelling 藏蘭 [zang/lan]. The Guangya says: '殘 means to annihilate.' The Cangjie pian says: 'It means to ruin.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'It takes 歺 as radical and 戔 as phonetic component.' 歺 has the same sound as above, and 戔 also has the same sound as above).
