昏霾（買排反爾雅云風而雨土為霾詩傳云霾雨土也說文從豸作霾正體字也論從犬作霾俗字也豸音池爾反）。

"Dark dust-storm" (Fanqie: 買 + 排 [mái]. The Erya says: 'Wind with falling soil is called mái.' The commentary to the Shijing says: 'Mái is raining dust.' The Shuowen jiezi writes it with the beast (豸) radical as 霾, which is the standard form. The treatise writes it with the dog (犬) radical as 霾, which is a vulgar character. 豸 has the fanqie: 池 + 爾 [chí]).
