瘂或（於假反埤蒼瘂亦瘖也經文作痾於何反病也痾非此義也又作啞音乙白反笑聲也並非字義）。

Mute, or (瘂或: [瘂 is pronounced with the] fanqie 於假. The Picang says: '瘂 also means dumb (瘖).' The sūtra text writes 痾, [with the] fanqie 於何, meaning sickness; 痾 is not the intended meaning here. It is also written as 啞, sound 乙白, meaning the sound of laughter; neither of these has the correct meaning of the character).
