堊灑（烏各反蒼頡篇云白土也爾雅牆謂之堊郭璞曰以白土飾牆也釋名堊堊也堊次也先泥之次以灰飾之也）。

Whitewashing and sprinkling (堊灑: [堊 is pronounced with the] fanqie 烏各. The Cangjie pian says: 'White clay.' The Erya says: 'A wall [coated] is called 堊.' Guo Pu says: 'Decorating a wall with white clay.' The Shiming says: '堊 means subjection/layering: 堊 is an application in sequence, first applying mud, then decorating it with lime.').
