靉靆（上哀代反下臺賴反王逸注楚辤云日月晻默無光也埤蒼云昧不明也古今正字竝從雲愛逮皆聲也）。

Cloudy and overcast (靉靆: the upper [character has the fanqie] 哀代 ['- + -ài → ài]; the lower [character has the fanqie] 臺賴 [t- + -ài → dài]. Wang Yi's commentary on the Chuci says: “The sun and moon being dim, obscure, and without light.” The Picang says: “Dim and not clear.” The Gujin zhengzi: “Both are formed from 雲 (cloud), with 愛 and 逮 as their respective phonetics”).
