稗子（上白賣反杜注左傳云稗草之似穀者從禾卑說文禾別也從禾卑聲也）。

Tare seeds (稗子: the upper [character has the fanqie] 白賣 [b- + -ài → bài]. Du's commentary on the Zuo zhuan says: “稗 is a weed that resembles grain; formed from 禾 and 卑.” The Shuowen: “A grain of a different kind; formed from 禾 (grain) and 卑 as phonetic”).
