四蛘（羊掌反經從養作𧓲俗字也字書云瘡肉中蟲行也或從手作攁發動也說文搔蛘也從虫羊聲有作痒者不成字也）。

四蛘 (four itches; fanqie: 羊 + 掌. In the sūtra it is written with 養 as 𧓲, which is a vulgar character. The character dictionaries state: "Insects crawling within sores and flesh." Sometimes written with the hand radical as 攁, meaning to break out or stir up. The Shuowen jiezi states: "To scratch an itch. Composed with the insect radical (虫) and yang (羊) phonogram." Those written as 痒 do not constitute a standard character).
