斑駮（又作辨同百顏反說文辨駮也蒼頡篇辨文皃也雜色為斑經文作斒方間反斒爛也爛音力間反）。

斑駮 (mottled and dappled; also written as 辨; both have the fanqie: 百 + 顏. The Shuowen jiezi states: "Bian means dappled." The Cangjie pian states: "Bian is the appearance of patterns." Variegated colors are ban. In the sūtra text it is written as 斒, with the fanqie: 方 + 間; 斒 means 爛 [brightly variegated]. 爛 has the fanqie: 力 + 間).
