Target and darkness (適莫: the first character is dīng + lì fanqie. The Kaosheng says: "適 indicates the true mark; the target; vulgarly sometimes written as 的." The second character is mó + bó fanqie. The Yunying says: "Sun setting into darkness." The Shuowen also says: "The sun is about to grow dark; the sun is amid thick grass; multiple layers of grass are called 莽; 井 is also phonetic." 井 is pronounced mǎng).
