Contiguous ridgepoles (連甍: mò + péng fanqie. Du's commentary on the Zuozhuan says: "甍 means roof-ridge." The Shuowen's gloss is the same as the Zuozhuan: "It takes the radical 瓦 and has an abbreviated 夢 as phonetic").
