譖曰（側禁反博雅𧮂毀也何休注公羊傳云無其事曰誣如其事曰𧮂說文愬也從言替聲也）。

Slandered, saying (譖曰: for the first character, the fanqie is 側 + 禁. The Boya says: "𧮂 means to defame." He Xiu's commentary on the Gongyang zhuan says: "Speaking without factual basis is called 誣 (fabrication); speaking in distortion of factual matters is called 𧮂 (slander)." The Shuowen says: "To accuse falsely; formed from [the semantic component] 言 and the phonetic component 替.")
