上梟（吉堯反毛詩草木疏云流離鳥也自關而西謂梟為流離其子適大還食其母郭璞注爾雅以為土梟經文作鵁非也）。

The upper [character] *xiao* 梟 (*ji* + *yao* fan; the *Mao Shi caomu shu* says: "It is the *liuli* bird. West of the Pass, the *xiao* is called *liuli*. As soon as its chicks grow large, they turn back and devour their mother." Guo Pu's commentary on the *Erya* considers it an earthen owl [土梟]. The sūtra text writes 鵁, which is incorrect).
