澡盥（上遭老反下官款反上聲字也古今正字云盥者澡手也從臼水臨皿曰盥會意字也經從水作俗字也）。

Washing and cleansing [澡盥] (the upper is *zao* + *lao* fan; the lower is *guan* + *kuan* fan, a character in the rising tone. The *Gujin zhengzi* says: "*Guan* means to wash the hands; it takes the 'mortar' [hands] and 'water' radical positioned over a vessel, which is called *guan*, an associative compound." The sūtra takes the 'water' radical, writing a vulgar character).
