Descendants [苗裔] (the lower is *yi* + *ji* fan; the *Wenzi jilüe* says: "*Yi* means distant." The *Shangshu* says: "Virtue bequeathed to later descendants." The *Jixun* says: "Descendants at the end." The *Shuowen* has it taking the 'clothing' radical with *jiong* 冏 as phonetic. 冏 is pronounced *nü* + *hua* fan).
