控制（上苦貢反毛詩傳云止馬曰控又云控引也說文匈奴引弓亦曰控絃從手空聲）。

控制 (The first character is fanqie 苦 + 貢. The Mao Commentary to the Shijing says: "Reining in a horse is called 控." It also says: "控 means to draw." The Shuowen says: "The Xiongnu drawing a bow is also called 控絃. It is derived from 手 with 空 as phonetic").
