Catalpa coffin (梓棺: also written as 棺, fanqie 即理. In ancient times, the people of Yin valued catalpa wood. Zilin: 梓 [zǐ] is the catalpa tree. Ancient history states: "Kao Yang made wooden coffins; the Youyu clan made earthenware coffins." Coffin (棺) means intact (完) and closed (關)).
