不撟（几小反說文撟擅也假詐也亦舉手也尚書撟誣上帝孔安國曰託天以行罪國語其形撟誣賈逵曰非先王之法曰撟如誅無罪曰誣字從手今皆作矯也）。

Bujiao (不撟; *ji-xiao* fanqie [jiǎo]. Shuowen jiezi: “Jiao (撟) means presumptuous; deceitful and counterfeit; it also means to raise the hand.” Shangshu: “Falsely presuming (jiao) and fabricating the orders of the High Sovereign.” Kong Anguo says: “Relying on Heaven to execute guilt.” Guoyu: “Its form falsely presumes and fabricates.” Jia Kui says: “Departing from the laws of the ancient kings is called jiao (撟); executing the innocent is called wu (誣).” The character is written with the hand radical (手); nowadays all are written as 矯).
