喑唶（於禁反下子夜反喑唶猶嘆聲也經文作咋壯曰士白二反咋然聲也亦咋齧也）。

Yinjie (喑唶; the upper character is *yu-jin* fanqie [yīn]; the lower character is *zi-ye* fanqie [jiè]. Yinjie is like the sound of sighing. In the sūtra text it is written as 咋, with the two pronunciations *zhuang-yue* and *shi-bai* [zhà/zé]; it is a crunching sound; it also means to chew).
