洞然（古文衕迵二形同徒凍反謂洞徹也經文作烔徒東反烔熱也烔非此義也）。
Dongran (洞然; the ancient script has the two forms 衕 and 迵, identical; *tu-dong* fanqie [dòng]. It means thoroughly penetrating. In the sūtra text it is written as 烔, *tu-dong* fanqie [tóng]; tong means hot, which is not the meaning here).
