創痛（上楚霜反禮記云頭有創則沐古今正字云創傷也說文從刀倉聲也經作瘡俗字也）。

Chuangtong (pain of wounds) (the first character has the fanqie: 楚 + 霜 [chuāng]; the *Liji* states: 'If one has wounds on the head, then wash the hair.' The *Gujin zhengzi* states: 'Chuang means wound.' The *Shuowen* states: 'It takes 刀 as semantic classifier and 倉 as phonetic.' The sūtra writes it as 瘡, which is a popular variant).
