芟彼（所巖反詩傳云芟除草也亦斫也經文作釤所鑑反大鎌也釤非此用也）。

Mow down those (芟彼: [芟 is] fanqie 所巖 [shān]; the Mao Commentary on the Shijing says: “芟 means to clear away grass”; it also means to hack down; the scripture text writes 釤, fanqie 所鑑 [shàn], which means a large scythe; 釤 is not suitable for use here).
