村柵（初格反說文編竪木者也通俗文柴垣曰扡木垣曰柵扡音力支反）。

Village palisade (村柵: [fanqie] chu + ge. The Shuowen says: "Upright timbers woven together." The Tongsu wen says: "A fence of brushwood is called yi (扡); a fence of timber is called zha (柵)." Yi (扡) is pronounced with the fanqie li + zhi).
