瘦眚（字苑作㾪同所景反釋名眚㾪也如病痟瘦也鄭玄注周禮云眚者猶人𤯝瘦也經文作省非字體也今行之）。

瘦眚 (Emaciated and blemished: In the Ziyuan it is written as 㾪, with the same fanqie 所景 [shěng]. The Shiming says: '眚 means emaciated [㾪], like an illness of wasting and thinness.' Zheng Xuan's commentary on the Rites of Zhou says: '眚 is like a person being gaunt and emaciated.' In the sūtra text it is written as 省, which is not the standard character form, but is currently in use.)
