栲掠 (To torture and interrogate: The second [character] has the fanqie 力酌 [lüè]. Du Yu's commentary on the Zuo zhuan says: '掠 means plundering wealth and goods.' Zheng Xuan's commentary on the Rites says: '掠 means to search and extort.' The Gujin zhengzi says: 'It has the radical 手 and an abbreviated 諒 as phonetic.')
