罄竭（古文𥥻同可定反說文器中空也爾雅罄盡也經文作石樂器名也古者母句作磬非此義古文云）。

罄竭 (Depleted and exhausted; in ancient script written as 𥥻, pronounced identically, k[e] + [ding] fan. The Shuowen jiezi says: "Empty within a vessel." The Erya says: "罄 means exhausted." The sūtra text writes 磬, the name of a stone musical instrument; in antiquity it was written 磬 without the curved mouth element, which does not have this meaning.
