端確（又作碻埤蒼作塙同苦學反周易夫乹確然韓康伯曰確堅貌也經文作磬胡族反穀盡也非此義也）。

端確 (Upright and firm; also written as 碻, and written in the Picang as 塙, pronounced identically, k[u] + [xue] fan. The Zhouyi says: "Qian is firm and steadfast." Han Kangbo says: "確 denotes a firm and solid appearance." The sūtra text writes 磬, pronounced h[u] + [zu] fan, meaning depleted of grain, which is not this meaning).
