水碓（堆內反顧野王云碓亦以用舂也方言碓亦機也考聲云舂具也說文從石隹聲也）。

水碓 (Water-powered pestle; [碓 is] d[ui] + [nei] fan. Gu Yewang says: "A pestle is also used for pounding." The Fangyan says: "A pestle is also a machine." The Kaosheng says: "An implement for pounding." The Shuowen jiezi says it is derived from "stone" (石) with phonetic 隹).
