謚比（時至反說文行之迹也從言益聲也白虎通曰謚之言列也釋名云謚申也物在後為申言名之於人也）。

謚比 (Comparing posthumous titles; [謚 is] sh[i] + [zhi] fan. The Shuowen jiezi says: "The traces of one's conduct; derived from 'speech' (言) with phonetic 益." The Baihu tong says: "謚 means to arrange in order." The Shiming says: "謚 means to extend; things coming after serve to state and name the person").
