譖之（戢禁反廣雅云譖毀也劉兆注公羊傳言旁入口曰譖說文譖讒也從言㬱聲古文云爾）。

譖之: Phonetic spelling 戢禁. The Guangya says: '譖 means to defame.' Liu Zhao's commentary on the Gongyang zhuan says: 'Words coming into the mouth from the side are called 譖.' The Shuowen jiezi says: '譖 means slander; it follows 言 (speech) with 㬱 as phonetic.' Thus it is in the ancient script.
