遏惡（上安曷反孔絕也毛詩傳遏止也考聲遮也說文從辵曷聲）。

遏惡: The upper character has the fanqie phonetic spelling 安曷. Kong says: 'To sever.' The commentary on the Classic of Poetry says: '遏 means to stop.' The Kaosheng says: 'To obstruct.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'It follows 辵 with 曷 as phonetic.'
