師捲 ('army rolling forward'; the second character is pronounced with the fanqie 倦 + 員. The Guoyu says: "'Juan' (捲) means rolling and unfurling." The Guangya says: "'Juan' means love." The Mao commentary on the Shijing says: "'Juan' means power." The Shuowen says: "Impetus; it is formed from [the radical] 手 with 卷 as the phonetic component").
