白髀（下鼙米反考聲云髀股也古今正字亦股外也文字典說從骨坒聲經作髀亦通坒音毘利反而音訓時之大用也）。

白髀 ('white thigh'; the second character is pronounced with the fanqie 鼙 + 米. The Kaosheng says: "The 'bi' (髀) is the thigh." The Gujin zhengzi also says: "The outer thigh." The Wenzi dianshuo says it is formed from [the radical] 骨 with 坒 as the phonetic component. Writing it as 髀 in the sūtra is also permissible. 坒 is pronounced 毘 + 利; this phonetic explanation reflects the standard usage of the time).
