聳耳（古文竦𢥠慫三形同所項須奉二反方言慫聾也郭璞曰言無所聞常聳耳也聳又竦也謂敬悚也）。

Song'er 聳耳 (the ancient script has three forms: 竦, 𢥠, and 慫; same [pronunciation]; both suo + xiang and xu + feng fan [sǒng]; the Fangyan says: "Song 慫 means deaf." Guo Pu says: "This means having no hearing, and constantly prickling one's ears." Song 聳 is also song 竦, meaning reverent and fearful).
