芋根（禹拘反說文大葉實根驚人者也故謂之芋蜀多此物可食其本者謂之蹲𩿒）。

芋根 (Fanqie yǔ + jū. The Shuowen says: 'A plant whose large leaves and actual roots startle people; hence it is called yù.' Shu has many of these; those whose main root can be eaten are called dūncī).
