謦欬（口頂反下開代反通俗文利喉曰謦說文欬逆氣也字從言從欠律文從石從口作磬咳二形非也）。

Clearing the throat and coughing (謦欬: [謦 has the] fanqie of 口 and 頂 [kh- + -eŋ = qǐng]; the second [character, 欬, has the] fanqie of 開 and 代 [kh- + -ai = kài]; the Tongsu wen says: "clearing the throat is called 謦"; the Shuowen jiezi says: "欬 means reversed breath; the character takes 言 and 欠"; the Vinaya text writes the two incorrect forms 磬 and 咳 with the stone and mouth radicals).
