Fist-strike (拳敲: also written 敲; same [pronunciation], fanqie of 口 and 交 [kh- + -au = qiāo]; meaning striking downwards; the Shuowen jiezi says: "to strike crosswise"; the Vinaya text writes 㧯, which is incorrect).
