厭蠱（於冉反下字林音固說文厭合也蒼頡篇伏合人心曰厭蠱周禮庶氏掌除妻蠱注云毒蠱虫物害人者也謂虫行毒也律文作固非也）。

Sorcery and gu-poison (厭蠱) (yu ran fan. The lower character is pronounced gu in the Zilin. The Shuowen says: "厭 means to join or suppress." The Cangjie pian says: "Suppression that bends another's heart is called 厭蠱." The Zhouli says: "The officer of the clan is in charge of eradicating female sorcery and gu." The commentary says: "Deadly gu is a venomous creature that harms people," meaning venomous insects performing poison. In the vinaya text it is written 固, which is incorrect).
