Roasting by oneself (自炮: written in character dictionaries as 炰, same; fanqie 白 + 包. The Shuowen jiezi states: "Roasting meat with the hair on." The Shijing Commentary states: "Roasting with hair on is called 炰," which is this; it also means wrapping and roasting).
